The two hillside railways in the district of Loschwitz make a great outing. From Körnerplatz, the cable railways, one on tracks and one suspended from above, take you to lovely viewing points from where you can enjoy the unique landscape of the Dresden Elbe valley.

Themed routes

Two themed routes have become firm fixtures of the DVB tram network. Route 4 – the KultourLinie – passes various sights in Dresden and its surroundings so can be called a low-cost alternative to the traditional city tour. Route 9 connects a number of shopping streets and malls.
