Regular fare monthly passes are transferable at no extra charge. The Dresden tariff zone is valid for fare stage A1.
Regular fare monthly travel passes may be used as a family ticket (maximum of 6 people, of which a maximum of two people may be older than 14 years) on weekends and holidays from 06:00 p.m. of the evening before the holiday or weekend starts up until 06:00 a.m. of the day after the holiday or weekend is over. In connection with this please keep in mind the validity and regulations which apply to the transportation of animals and large objects for one-day tickets for families.

9-o'clock monthly travel pass subscription
You can get the 9-o'clock monthly travel pass cheaper by subscription, too. With this ticket you are able to use trams and busses every day from 09:00 a.m. until 04:00 a.m. of the day following validation as often as you like. Regular fare monthly passes are transferable at no extra charge. The Dresden tariff zone is valid for fare stage A1.

Additional advice
Regulations which apply to the transportation of animals and large objects
Baby carriages, wheelchairs, a pair of skis or a sledge per person as well as lugagge and small pets in a container are free of charge. If you have a monthly travel pass subscription or a yearly travel pass subscription, then your dog or bicycle is free of charge, too.
Validity
Season tickets are valid corresponding on the area and time validity on the cable cars, the City-Bus in Meißen, the narrow-gauge railways, the Kirnitzschtalbahn, in the elevator in Bad Schandau and Elbe ferries.
