ALITA Taxis on Regular Routes

ALITA taxisALITA taxis provide a special service for DVB customers. At times of very low demand, taxis drive along certain routes in place of regular buses and trams. In this way, our services can run on less popular routes even during off-peak periods, keeping distant destinations accessible. You will recognise the ALITA taxis easily by the special sign in the cab.

Booking ALITA

You can book a trip in an ALITA taxi up to 20 minutes before it is to leave. To do so, simply phone the DVB service hotline:

You are also welcome to place your booking with the driver of the DVB vehicle you travelled in previously. The same notice period applies.

When booking, please provide the following information:

  • The ALITA route in question
  • The stops you are travelling from and to
  • The time on the schedule at which you would like to leave
  • Your name
  • Special points, e.g. if you have a pushchair or are traveling in a group

Fares

ALITA trips count as normal DVB journeys. In other words, all you need is a valid ticket: monthly and annual passes can also be used on ALITA. There is no extra charge. If you do not have a ticket, you can purchase price level A single-fare tickets (valid for 1 zone and at most 1 hour) from the taxi driver.

Timetable

ALITA taxis leave according to a fixed timetable. The times in the timetable booklet are marked with the ALITA symbol. On the timetable information displayed at tram and bus stops, ALITA trips are marked with a T.
