One-Day Tickets
One-day ticket for single person
All day maximum flexibility: With a one-day ticket you can go by tram or bus (with the exception of special means of transport - see validity) as often as you like until 04:00 a.m. of the day following validation. This ticket is available for one tariff zone, multiple tariff zones or the entire Oberelbe Transport Network (VVO) area.

Night ticket
Night owls get to use all means of transport as often as they like by tram or bus within the entire VVO area between 06:00 p.m. and 06:00 a.m. of the day following validation.
And the highligth is: the night ticket is also valid on special means of transport like the Dresden cable cars.
One-day tickets for families
If you are taking out the family for a nice excursion, then one-day tickets for families are a particularly attractive offer. The ticket can be used by maximum 2 adults (older than 14 years) and up to 4 children from 6 to 14 years old or by six unattended children.The one-day ticket for families is valid until 04:00 a.m. of the day following validation in tram or bus and is available for one tariff zone, more than one tariff zones or entire VVO area.

Small group ticket
On the go with friends: the small group ticket enables up to 5 people to travel endlessly from A for Altenberg to Z for Zinnwald within the entire VVO area. It's valid on the day of validation and until 04:00 a.m. of the day following validation in tram or bus.

Additional advice
Regulations which apply to the transportation of animals and large objects
Baby carriages, wheelchairs, a pair of skis or a sledge per person as well as lugagge and small pets in a container are free of charge. If you have a one-day ticket for one or 2 neighbouring tariff zones, then your dog or bicycle requires 1.30 € (reduced single trip). The ticket is valid until 04:00 a.m. of the day following validation. If you have a one-day ticket for the entire VVO area, then your dog or bicycle requires 2.50 € (reduced single trip fare stage 2).
Validity
One-day tickets are valid for the Elbe ferries, too. Besides a valid one-day ticket entitles the holder to acquire one concession ticket per person for the Dresden cable cars and the City-Bus in Meißen (please note special tariff!).
One-day tickets are not valid on the cable cars, the City-Bus in Meißen, the narrow-gauge railways, the Kirnitzschtalbahn and in the elevator in Bad Schandau.
