Single Tickets

Single trip

With a single ticket at fare stage 1 you can use all routes in the Dresden tariff zone (or another tariff zone) for maximum 1 hour. Within this validation you can change from one vehicle to another as often as you like. Also you can use the Elbe ferries.

For a longer trip within the Oberelbe Transport Network (VVO) you chose the fare stage of your single trip according to the number of tariff zones you chose to travel through (2 tariff zones, maximum 1.5 hours = fare stage 2, etc.)

4-trip card

For price-conscious people you can buy one ticket containing four single trips and save on the single trip price.


For short journeys (up to a distance of not more than 2 km or rather in the city up to
a maximum of 4 stops after getting on the vehicle) it's worthwile to buy a four-trip card for short trips. This ticket is valid independent of the borders of the tariff zones, but changes from one vehicle to another are not allowed.

Additional advice

Regulations which apply to the transportation of animals and large objects

Baby carriages, wheelchairs, a pair of skis or a sledge per person as well as lugagge and small pets in a container are free of charge. If you have a single ticket, then your dog or bicycle requires a reduced fare single ticket for the corresponding fare stage.


Validity

Short journeys and single trips are not valid on the cable cars, the City-Bus in Meißen, the narrow-gauge railways, the Kirnitzschtalbahn and in the elevator in Bad Schandau.


Tariff tip

If you plan more than 2 trips a day within a tariff zone, it's worthwile to buy a one-day ticket.
