Jobticket: makes you mobile, makes sense
Many Dresden residents use public transport on their way to work every day as a matter of course. Now, Dresden's companies can help out their staff on their trip, with the Jobticket. Everyone benefits: the employers, the employees – and the environment. The Jobticket is a contract between us and a company whereby staff can buy a subscriber's monthly pass with a reduction of at least 20 per cent in the price. Half of the price reduction is paid for by their employer and the other half by us.
Advantages for employers
One key advantage of the Jobticket for employers is the lower number of parking spaces required. Cutting back on one single company car park can lead to a saving of up to 7 euros a day. Moreover, within the city of Dresden, companies providing Jobtickets no longer have to provide officially binding documentation for individual parking spaces.
The Jobticket also makes a great perk, providing a direct means of staff retention. Some other advantages which should not be underestimated include the fact that your staff get to work conveniently, without stress, and the positive image your company gains from its ecological footprint.
Advantages for employees
The main advantage for employees is the unbeatable price: they get a full subscriber's monthly pass at reduced conditions. Payment is simple, made through their wages or salary. Holders can use the Jobticket round the clock.
On weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. it can only be used in conjunction with valid ID (non-transferable). At all other times, the Jobticket can be lent to other people (except for the concessionary version for trainees).
They can always take a bicycle or dog with them. At the weekends and on public holidays, there are also generous regulations allowing them to take along one extra adult and up to four children. This applies from 6 p.m. the day before until 6 a.m. the day after. The Jobticket is subject to the same fare regulations as any other monthly pass.
To enter into a contract, the following preconditions must be fulfilled:
- Your company must have at least 30 members of staff using the Jobticket.
- We offer a discount of 10 per cent on the price of the subscriber's monthly pass. In return, your company also pays at least 10 per cent of the price of the subscriber's monthly pass.
- The contract must run for at least one year.
